The Home Builders Association Of Greater Calhoun County is an organization comprised of business men and women who want to expand their industry and improve their community. Working together, our fine members increase their knowledge of the trade and market with continuing education opportunities and guest speakers. They make new business contacts and fortify professional relationships at group meetings and events. They also pull together to obtain common political goals. In addition, our members have volunteered and contributed to many philanthropic projects in the Greater Calhoun County Area since 1967. The Home Builders Association of Greater Calhoun County has began a Task Force to help in the battle to combat Construction Job Site Thefts.

The crime problems in the new construction market affect the entire community. Much of the monies gained by these thefts are used to fund other illegal activities in our communities such as drugs. Therefore the HomeBuilders are asking everyone in the community to help us put an end to this growing problem. The Home Builders started the campaign with a $5,000 donation to the Crimestoppers organization.
